Anybody get the feeling that Mr. Pollin drops that luxury tax standard to get Gilbert and 'tawn back?

Methinks so!

More troublesome than Etan's skill set is his heart. Regardless of what OUR team Dr's say, no team is willing to have a Reggie Lewis on their hands.

Also, looking objectively at our Wizards squad from 2007 and looking at the four teams that have the best chance of winning a Championship this year (L.A., N.O., Boston, and Detroit) I am not sure we're on their level yet. Honestly, I am not sure we're two years away from their level.

My honest assessment of our team would be that we're in the bottom of second tier NBA teams. We have a long haul to go if we want to be home the O'Brien trophey

Excellent assessment. Seems like the only enticing package would be Blatche and the 18th pick. Nick Young would not be an option, as he would have to step in for scoring if Gilbert leaves.

As for Etan, the Wizards just might have to bite that one.
