Several teams have given him a workout--none of them have time to waste on a player they wouldn't consider signing. I'll bet someone takes a chance on him.

Having watched Darius as a Clipper, I thought the TrailBlazers were nuts for giving him a six-year $48 million dollar contract. That said, he used to be long, quick, agile and at times a difference maker. If he can get back to 85 percent of his ability and is able to to put forth a professional effort, I do see him as an asset. I haven't seem him play this summer but he sure looks like he aged lol. http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2008/0719/nba_g_miles_400.jpg

Definitely worth a look and possibly the minimum salary.

he had his chance and blew it. He is not freakish athletic anymore that´s for sure after all this time recovering from injury. Whoever signs him will have to wait off the 10 first games while he serves his suspension for drug related issues which means that whoever signs him has to sign him for the season. As a Blazer fan I was one of few that wanted to see him come back last year and try to play but it was not to be and I will be very surprised if he plays another NBA game in his life. He is set though, has a newborn kid and if he plays a game I won´t be disappointed. Everyone does deserve a chance and Darius included.

True...I suppose he has the skill set to be able to play defense, but his love for the game has been questioned.....not good, but everyone deserves a second chance.

Were he known for good defense, I would champion this idea.

But because he's known for more hard luck than anything else, I just see it being Kwame reloaded.
