Everybody Wants JaVale McGee

The Spot Light is on JaVale McGee - flickr/Keith AllisonJaVale McGee has made quite the impression on the NBA.

Ashy to classy? More like from draft night ‘WTF?!!’ to ‘the Wizards shouldn’t trade this kid for anything.’

As Young Choppa’s minutes have increased, fans in league arenas across the nation are starting to notice. And dreams of pilfering the kid with the hot mom from Ernie Grunfeld have commenced.

No dice.

But the Wizards’ future aspirations for a shot blocking piece of alley-ooping weaponry does not go victimless.

Just ask University of Nevada Wolf Pack coach Mark Fox (via the Reno Gazette Journal):

Fox said he was proud of the 20-plus wins after the unexpected loss of 7-foot center JaVale McGee, who entered the NBA draft after his sophomore season.

“I think with another early entry into the draft, this team was certainly younger than we planned, smaller than we planned………With JaVale leaving, I think we over-scheduled because we anticipated he would be here,” Fox said.

Sorry dude.
