I've noticed it all season and I think thats part of whats taking his aggressiveness away. I remember thinking im glad Gil got a tech there because he needs to draw this to the attention of the refs. The very next play Calderon gets a foul call for a much smaller foul. If the defender is out of position I think its smart basketball for the guard to create contact. He's did it for years and I haven't seen any change int he rule book. Gil is right. I’ve noticed it all season and I think thats part of whats taking his aggressiveness away.
