True, but why not once he saw how they were set up. I felt like he made those matchup errors because he was rushing just to get everyone in place instead of using his common sense.

@Tyler

I don't think Flip needed to call a timeout. He had plenty of time to organize his team while the refs reviewed to last play to see how much time was on the clock after Haywood knocked the ball out of bounds.

Why didn't Flip burn a timeout to setup the defense? Must have been saving it for later in the game. Oh wait, there was .5 seconds left in the game!

The last picture is where the Referees said the foul occurred... As a matter of fact, the last two pictures show the same play, at the exact same moment, from different angles.

1. Stevenson was not called for a foul - and based on the last picture, he shoud NOT have been called.

2. A split second before that last picture - Haywood's hand was on TOP of the ball.

3. Haywood's "hand in the back" occurred from .5 seconds left to .3 seconds left; and was NOT called.

4. The foul that WAS called occurred at .1 seconds left. Haywood's left hand is NOT touching Dunleavy with .1 seconds left.

5. So we must assume that Haywood's right hand, which was on top of the ball at .2 seconds left (clean block), but at .1 seconds left is on the side of the ball, touching Dunleavy's hand is where the foul occurred.

So the question I have is this:
If a defensive player's hand originally gets all ball, but slides during the play to hit the hand of the Offensive player - is that a foul?
