while much of what Webber said is true, i don’t have a lot of respect for him after the way he carried himself in D.C. and philly and sacramento to a certain respect. he was our future and i think the management over-reacted to his “transgression” back then as they have done with Gilbert now, but at the same time, Webber was quite a me guy as well and never was able to take his team over the edge.

Not sure what’s a rumor … the Marv Albert stuff appeared in court documents and all the rest of the Webber stuff really can’t be refuted … if, in fact, these are the rumors to which you are referring.

Caron is a major weakness to the Wizards this year. I don’t see another team wanting him. He hasn’t played the small forward position well at all this year. He seems slow and can’t jump. Jameson plays more like a small forward and Blatche plays more like a power forward than a center. It amazes me that Flip has not rotated Haywood, Jameson and Blatche on the front line at all this season. But I have seen Miller and Butler playing forwrds with Boykins and Foye. Will someone please try to set me straight on this.

I am not sure what is up with Caron this year and am very disappointed in not only his play but his me first attitude. Maybe he wants to be traded or something. But, regardless, he is still being paid, as is the others and as I have said before, they should be ashamed to cash their paychecks with the lack of effort and consistency they have played with this year. The fans should just stay away. I know I have. I could go to plenty of home games but I go to see teams at least try to win and lets face it, THE WIZARDS SUCK!!!

Last year, with the many injuries and all, it was sort of understandble, but this year, I don’t think so. They look good on paper and should be playing accordingly.

Luke, stick to whatever it is you do that is non-sports related. Everything you said about Caron Butler and afterwards is nonsense. Caron may have been a leader last year, but if you’ve watched at all this year, you’d see that
Caron’s not being a leader.
