wizards need a make over and this is just not it. Just a band aid right now. I personally want a clean house and by that I mean get rid of the two tv broadcasters steve and phil OMG those two are so annoying. (watch those two at the games,usually scouting for women)my sister asked for a pic and phil had his hands all over her. Then we have gil the gunman. NBA is doing all they can to keep a negative imagine with representatives of the wiz like that

I've given up hope. There is no light at the end of this decades long roller coaster. No matter who plays for this franchise bad breaks and bad luck along with the other hexes and jinxs' follow. Disappointing to longtime fans like me. Year after Year it's always something else stopping success of anykind. I'm mentally beatdown and I'm not even playing.

@Bob

After this season, Igoudala has 4-years and over $56 million left on his contract. I don't think he's the type of play you try to rebuild around at that price.

@DJ

Thanks for stopping by man. And yes, in some instances the ball-handler can be to blame, like when they don't go tight off the screen ... I see it happen all the time.

sigh. If there were two columns, one that said "signs that Javale will develop into a good player" and one that said "signs Javale will be a bust". The second column is getting longer. Yes, he's an amazing athlete, but how many times have we seen an amazing athlete come into the NBA and fail to develop?

from watching recent games it leaves me puzzled as to why the wizards are more willing to trade Caron Butler than Antawn Jamison. Jamison is the epitome of inefficency. He is a hybrid PF that lacks size who tries to avoid contact as much as possible, stays around the perimeter to jack up 3s. He also is much older than Caron Butler and has higher salary. According to the sources the Cavaliers want him badly enough to offer Ilgauskas and JJ Hickson which both I think would fit it ,especially Hickson, very well.
If Ernie Grunfield ends up trading Butler away and keeps Jamison, we are doomed.

Once again, great site. Come here everyday to read your analysis, even though I'm not a Wizards fan.

Although McGee and Blatche are at fault, often times, the illegal screen is also due to the ball handler. Do you think Foye is also to blame as well, considering that he's not a true PG (I don't consider him anyway).

While the onus is on the players, the wizards have been a very poorly run organization. The hiring of Flip Saunders and the new ownership, hopefully will change that.

Obviously you don't trade McGee. But one has to wonder how good/motivated/opportunistic this sensitive guy is that he hasn't see more court time now in two consecutive lost seasons.

I think the team has forgotten that the second half of their schedule is much easier than their first half and they are relatively healthy and 39 wins might make the playoffs if they hold the tie breaker.
