Great analysis of Butler. It should have been said earlier! He certainly didnt get off to a good start with Dallas.

I still think the Jason Kidd - Devin Harris trade was lopsided and bad for a midseason trade, but man, if Haywood and Butler play well for Dallas, Kidd should deserve most of the credit.

I am little surprised Washington couldn't swing a deal for McGrady for the same parts, but I guess this was more about getting under the tax for this season.

So it had to be Dallas...

Howard's 'jump'-starting the offense for Dallas in the first quarter consisted mostly of jacking jabstep jumpers up.
Thing is, he is terrible at jumpshots.
On the other hand, he is really good at driving, but his body and especially his ankles prevent him from doing it a lot/willingly.

His downfall in Dallas was aided by his paranoia that everyone was out there to get him in the dallas media and his offcourt incidential attitude everyone read about. In the end, it was comically inevitable because he had no friends on the roster. Harris and Daniels, his two best buddies got traded away, and Howard never recovered from that. A fresh start could help his game, but a) Washington needs pingpong balls, not wins and b) his body is unreliable, as evidenced by his offseason surgery on ankle and wrist in may 2009. He didn't play again until november and that worked out well. Not.
Let's give him credit for playing it out injured in the playoffs last year, though.
In the end, Basketball is a job for Josh. He should be good for 5th best player on a championship team, but got paid and had the role of 2nd banana.

To that i'd like to close with the second part of his very best quote: "Crazy man! Y'all hilarious!"
