Scenes From The Verizon Center Draft Night Party

Updated: June 26, 2010

The Washington Wizards organization hosted a draft party Thursday night at the Verizon Center for season ticket holders on their practice court. They handed out t-shirts and mini posters with the new “Wall, Game Changer” marketing slogan. Here are pictures of the festivities.

Fans still remained as the Bulls were ready to make the 17th pick, which the Wizards are set to acquire in a trade that will become official on July 8th.  There were no boos like earlier when Kwame Brown highlights donned the screens, but plenty of awkward silence when Kevin Seraphin’s name was announced.
