This afternoon the Washington Wizards will conduct pre-NBA draft workouts with the following players:

  • Will Clyburn, 6-foot-7 guard from Iowa State;
  • Elijah Johnson, 6-foot-4 guard from Kansas;
  • Nick Minnerath, 6-foot-9 forward from Detroit;
  • Peyton Siva, 6-0 guard from Louisville;
  • Adonis Thomas, 6-foot-7 forward from Memphis; and
  • Christian Watford, 6-foot-9 forward from Indiana.

On Tuesday the Wizards brought in:

  • Malcolm Armstead, 6-foot guard from Wichita State who became a story during their 2013 Final Four run because he sold cars and took out loans to pay his own way to play for the Shockers after transferring from Oregon.
  • Demitrius Conger, 6-foot-6 forward from St. Bonaventure who uses @SidneyDeane11 for his Twitter handle. #Respect.
  • Ramon Galloway, 6-foot-3 guard from LaSalle who transferred there from South Carolina; Galloway has an interesting, and tough, story that was profiled by the New York Times which you should read.
  • Jamelle Hagins, 6-foot-9 forward from Delaware who was co-MVP of the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament and is from Roanoke, VA.
  • Romero Osby, 6-foot-8 forward from Oklahoma who transferred from my alma mater, Mississippi State, as part of the lead-in to the Coach Rick Stansbury fallout.
  • Tray Woodall, 6-foot guard from Pittsburgh who sold drugs in Brooklyn when he was 12, but doesn’t have to do that anymore.

On Monday, the Wizards worked-out Tyler Brown, Miguel Paul, Angelo Sharpless, Rotnet Clarke, Gregory Echenique, and Ehimen Orukpe.

Sholape Oriola (@lape14), a video correspondant who has done work for TAI in the past, was on-hand. Check Sholape’s video below for some workout footage from Monday and interview clips with Clarke and Brown.
